As we move into autumn the weather turns bringing grey clouds and rain. Meanwhile the Wald hotel is still standing but looking rather the worst for wear today.

Moments before the upper floors fell This afternoon the top floors collapsed into a cloud of dust, which was thankfully contained by rain and a well-aimed fire hose. The view from my lounge window changed forever … was that silver glint on the horizon the Pforzheim Sparkasse.
